Happy New Year!

Thank you all for a wonderful year - here's to an even better 2014!

Emily and I have committed ourselves to traveling back to Haiti (back for me, this will be her first time) in February to build rubble houses for people who are still homeless after the 2010 earthquake.

This time, I'll be producing a short video documentary about the trip. It will include interviews with all of the volunteers, as well as locals in Grand-Goâve where we're working, with the end goal being a solid story to tell to future volunteers and funding sources. We want to be able to keep going back and making a difference in this amazing place.

I mean - just look at these enthusiastic young faces:

Only problem? We're, as is typical of our creative lifestyle choice, pretty much living paycheck to paycheck ourselves.

We've already raised & received $500 towards our costs of getting there and back, but that puts us about 75% shy of our goal.

Droplet of Life is a sponsored project of Fractured Atlas, a non-profit arts service organization. Contributions for the charitable purposes of Droplet of Life must be made payable to Fractured Atlas only and are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law.

Any help is greatly appreciated - hopefully any of you looking to make that last year-end contribution can help us do some good.

Thank you, and Happy New Year!
